The Subjects

This two-year program combines classroom learning with hands-on field experiences in Pre-K through middle school classrooms. It introduces students to the history and practice of teaching, classroom management, diverse educational settings, and contemporary issues in education. The program encourages students to think deeply about what teaching involves, what teachers do, and whether education is the right career path for them.
