The Scoop

The opportunities for students completing the Agriculture Science program are limitless. Our graduates have gone on to four-year universities to study Agriculture and some have started right in with production agriculture.

The Agriculture courses we offer have a large span of interests and career opportunities. With a college degree students could become Ag teachers, Ag journalists, Food Scientists, Veterinarians, Farm Managers, Conservation Agents, Turf Managers, USDA employees... the list goes on and on.

Our students who go straight into production Ag have careers like farming, truck driving, owning their business, chemical applicators, feed store clerks... and the list again goes on and on!

Ag Science students participate in FFA. After high school students can join Mexico Young Farmers (Ted DeVault, advisor).
