Construction Technology

Construction Technology is for students who want to work in construction-related occupations. Students receive training in multiple aspects of the construction process. Included in this course are hands-on experiences as well as classroom content related to construction project planning and management.

Faculty

Jackiesue Hoskins has worked in the field of construction for over 20 years. She has been involved in the construction of many homes and a few commercial projects. She began working with Mexico School District in the fall of 2010 as the Computer Lab Aide for Eugene Field Elementary. In the fall of 2016, she became a fourth-grade elementary teacher. In 2017 she obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching from Columbia College. Her hobbies include gardening, bicycling, and water sports. She enjoys working with students to provide "hands on learning" opportunities which promote creative thinking skills and improvement of work ethic.
