Meet Our Director
Chris Denham

Chris Denham, most recently Mexico's Director of Student Services, was named Director of Hart Career Center for the 2013-14 school year. Denham also oversees Mexico Education Center. Denham is also the former principal of Mexico Middle School.

Denham earned a B.A. in Education from Columbia College in 2000, and then earned a M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri in 2003, followed by his Specialist degree in 2011, also from the University.

"I am excited about the programs at Hart Career Center, and am looking forward to their continuing momentum," Denham said. "I plan to work with the local resources, businesses and post-secondary education opportunities we have here in Mexico by developing more partnerships. My priority for HCC is to make the school a place where students are excited to come for a cutting-edge education."

Denham's appointment was a good fit for the school district, Superintendent Kevin Freeman said. "Chris is an experienced administrator who knows the system from Pre-K to grade 12," he said. "He is a local resident, and has connections in the community and area, and can build more relationships to grow both MEC and HCC."

Denham and his wife Robbin have three children, Kaelyn, Amelia and Gatlin.
